Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Completely different than the picture. It corrupted my files, didn't work, and broke apart after a week of use. Comment: I bought this flash drive expecting what I had seen in the picture, which looked like a really cool, metallic, box-shaped, steel-finished flash drive (of the Samsung brand). What I got was completely different. It didn't even have a brand name. It was labeled as a "Super USB 2.0 Flash Drive". It was the sketchiest thing I'd ever seen. I tried putting a bunch of files on it (from my PC at home), and when I ran them on a foreign Mac, most of the files were unable to be opened. When I tried again from Mac to PC, I realized that this drive had corrupted most of my files and was basically useless. I still tried using it. After a week of using it about once a day, I put it into a USB port, and the casing fell apart. I was left with a chip dangling out of my computer. (It was humid in the room, and that had managed to undo the glue holding the two plastic casing pieces together.) Major disappointment. I'm buying another one immediately. Customer Rating: Summary: Wrong picture Comment: The product I received does not look like the picture at all. The website picture displays a nice and sturdy usb flash drive with a nice silver color. The product I received was thinner and was black and silver in color. It does not appear to be sturdy but is probably a standard size usb drive. The package I received seemed opened and distressed by the time I received it in the mail. I have not tried using the product yet but hopefully it is not damaged. Customer Rating: Summary: 8 Gig Flash Comment: I bought this 8 gig flash drive so I can easily carry files where ever I go. In real-life, I am constantly saving jpegs and data. I opened it, plugged it in, and got started. How much easier does it get. Well.....Its "Amazon Easy"! Amazon keeps your name and card numbers so all you do to spend money is point and click!
