Customer Rating: Summary: Great Spice Overpriced... Comment: I purchased this spice for use on leg of lamb, and wasn't disappointed. The spice is quite nice, and quite different than Greek spices I have used in the past. I am really unfamiliar with Morrocan cuisine, but was anxious to try it, having had Indian tangine cooking on several occasions. This works well on roast leg of lamb, and we tried the leftovers sliced and sauteed with more of the spice and this was great too.
My only complaint is the ($11.00) price. While I expect to pay more for imported quality goods, this same spice is sold at Crate and Barrel for $8.95 regularly, and right now it is on sale for $2.25. This might suggest a "close out" price (hopefully not), or it might just be ridding themselves of overstock. Whatever the case, I am planning on stocking up @ $2.25 which is much more reasonable for a 3oz bottle of spice.
