I highly recommend this adapter. Customer Rating: Summary: I purchased the wrong model for my Yamaha digital piano Comment: Not the seller's fault, but mine. This model GW-US54Mini2W does not work with the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-307 digital piano it was intended for. So, I haven't even used it. It does not work with the piano. I hope I can exchange it for the right model GW-US54GXS, since the purchase was from the manufacturer distributor. Comment: This item works great when being used on 32-bit XP, however I could not get this device to work on 64-bit Vista SP1. The Vista SP1 driver provided by Planex simply does not work as of July 28, 2008. This might be fixed in the future. I did not try to install this device on Linux, but I have read reports that it is difficult. Make sure to read the XLink Kai forums. They have tutorials on how to install and use this device under various system configurations. Do not follow their advice on force installing XP drivers for Vista SP1, this can (as in my case) permanently break the drivers for this device. Customer Rating: Summary: Horrible device Comment: I did NOT like the crap this device put me thorough. It fights with my current wireless adapter that I used for my computer's internet. It just is not user friendly whatsoever and trying to get the computer to recognize the device is like pulling teeth. Windows refused to recognize the device even after the drivers were installed and I have to force windows to take those. Had to play "Which usb slot" because none of the 8 that's on my computer recognized it twice in a row... More than a headache, it's an ulcer. DOES NOT WORK WITH XLINK KAI! More Reviews
