You can access your e-mail, web-clippings or AvantGo content fast with this 56kbps, V.90 analog PSTN (Public Switched Network) modem for the m100 handheld. The Clipmodem uses its own power source and does not drain the batteries off the Palm m100 series handhelds.Installing the Clipmodem is easy. You just have to slide the m100 handheld from an angle and snap it into place. A securing latch snaps into the stylus silo on the handheld. But don't worry as the Clipmodem has another stylus silo to compensate for the stylus holder it takes up. This is a good alternative to the laptop for getting connected using the handheld. The Clipmodem is designed for Palm m10x.

Customer Rating: Summary: Very Good modem (finally), some problems Comment: Well first of all i just recently bought the modem and i have to say i am very proud of it except that sometimes the palm cant find it even after changing batteries. If you have aol you can go on aol but its hard to get on lets say amazon.com or .... Because aol doesnt support that kind of stuff i guess so i was disappointed. But when i went on aol on it it was very fast and didnt have alot of problems. So if you have compuserve, earthlink, at&t world net, netcom, shore, mindspring , ibm global network i think it will work for you. Overall very nice product.
