Sure, I find "throat-singing" interesting, but I had no idea that these people lived in such inhospitable climes, that they have to protect their animals from snow leopards (!), nor that they have this rich storytelling tradition. You just need the specific skill. The culture will train you in the skills you need to be successful. Can a person really see the future, literally? The Shaman is positive. Is he wrong?
