Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: the worst travel book I have ever read Comment: This has got to be the worst travel book I have ever read. As one who has also extensively traveled through Asia and lived and worked in Asia, and a reader of many travel books, this book was deplorable.
First off the writing style reminds me of a 5th grader.
Second of all, I can paraphrase the book right here: The author travels through Southeast Asia for 90 days. Each chapter is about the days events, kind of like a journal. Each day ends with his tales of getting a bar girl/prostitute, paying her 500 Baht (or pesos, or $15) to have sex with her and how great he climaxed.
Just the story of a burnt out old man, with no character or future.
Guy probably has HIV/AIDs after having sex with over 90 low class dirty prositutes.
