Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: mug shots Comment: I hope you like the image on the cover cause thats pretty much all you're going to get in this book. I am not exaggerating. Page after page of expressionless faces staring directly into the camera, usually with a blurred monochrome background. One or two of the faces are turned slightly to the side and there are a couple smiling ones but thats all you get for variation. I am a big fan of McCurry's travel photos, but these portaits show a tremendous lack of imagination, insight, and feeling. Customer Rating: Summary: Amazing Pictures!
